CMCA: Center for Maine Contemporary Art

For over 50 years, CMCA has offered thought-provoking exhibitions, education programs, and events to engage and enrich the community. Open year-round, CMCA invites you to come and connect with artists whose work reshapes the artistic landscape in Maine and beyond. CMCA’s Annual Crafts Show and Sale presents fine contemporary crafts every fall. Submissions for Work of the Hand are due in early spring.
Haystack Mountain School of Crafts

A n international craft school located on the Atlantic Ocean in
Deer Isle, Maine. The school offers intensive studio-based workshops
in a variety of craft media including clay, glass, metals, paper,
blacksmithing, weaving, woodworking and more. Programs range from
